About

With a defining focus on landscape and macro photography as my current interests, I am always keen to photograph pretty much any shot-worthy scene I experience.

I believe that, while it is important to have identifiably preferable genres in which to shoot, ignoring a potential photographic opportunity simply because it is “not in my preferred genre” can lead to missed opportunities and a slowing of my photographic development.

While my primary focus remains upon landscape and macro photography, my aim in the near future is to develop my work in the areas of urban landscapes and portraiture.

I am inspired by the work of Sebastiao Salgado and Max Dupain as examples of the photographic subject matter that I hope one day to master.
